Kalaleh 1500 is the city app of Kalaleh, Golestan Province, Iran. This page explains in plain language what information we collect, why we use it and what control you have over it. It applies to the Android app, the web app, the business panel and this website.
In short: we only need your mobile number to sign you in, your location is used only when you ask for it and is never stored, we never see your bank card details, and we never sell your data.
What we collect
Your account
- Mobile number: used to sign you in with a one-time SMS code. There are no passwords. The verification code itself is stored hashed and only for a few minutes.
- Name (optional): only if you add it to your profile.
- Sign-in session: a random token is stored on your device so you don’t have to sign in every time. Signing out deletes the session from our server too.
- When you joined and when you last used the app.
What you add yourself
- Reviews and ratings: shown after moderation with your name; if you haven’t set a name, a masked version of your number (e.g. 0912***4567) is shown instead.
- Favorites and discount codes: the places you save and the codes you claim, including when they were redeemed.
- Business details (for business owners): name, description, phone numbers, social links, address and map location, opening hours, logo, photos, products and discounts. These are shown publicly once approved.
- Content orders: the brief and sample photos you send are used only to create that content.
Location
- “Near me” reads your phone’s location only with your permission and only when you tap it, and sends it to our server to sort results by distance. It is not stored.
- In the business sign-up form, the “my current location” button only helps you place the pin on the map; the pin you save is your business’s public address.
- You can revoke location permission at any time in your phone’s settings; the rest of the app works without it.
Payments
Content packages are paid through the secure Zarinpal payment gateway. We never see or store your full card number, PIN or CVV2. We only keep the amount, payment status, reference code and the masked card number returned by Zarinpal, for tracking and support.
Statistics and logs
- Visits to each business page are recorded only as anonymous daily counts, so the owner can see them.
- Like any online service, our servers keep technical logs (such as IP address and request time) for a limited time for security and troubleshooting.
- We don’t use third-party tracking or advertising tools.
How we use it
- To sign you in and keep your account secure;
- To show businesses, products, discounts and reviews;
- To send essential SMS messages such as sign-in codes, business review results and order updates;
- To provide support and answer your requests;
- To prevent abuse, fraud and inappropriate reviews.
We don’t send promotional SMS messages at the moment. If we ever do, it will be announced in advance with an easy way to opt out.
Who we share it with
- SMS provider (Asanak): only your mobile number and the message text, to deliver sign-in codes and notifications.
- Zarinpal payment gateway: to process payments.
- Business owners: when they redeem your discount code or read your review, they only see your name or masked number — never your full number.
- AI service: if you’re a business owner and use the “write with AI” button, only the text you entered for that suggestion is sent.
- Authorities: only upon an official legal request.
We do not sell your information or share it for targeted advertising.
Storage and security
Traffic between the app, the website and our servers is encrypted with HTTPS, and access to data is limited to the Kalaleh 1500 team on a need-to-know basis. Your information is kept for as long as your account is active.
Your choices and account deletion
- You can edit your name and business details at any time in the app or the panel, and remove favorites.
- To delete your account, message us through the contact options at the bottom of this page from the number you signed up with. Your account and personal data will be deleted or anonymized within 30 days. Payment records may be kept for as long as the law requires.
Children
Kalaleh 1500 is made for the general public and needs nothing more than a mobile number to use. Children under 13 should use it with parental supervision.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be published here with an updated date, and we’ll announce important changes inside the app.
